I dreamt of the subtlest thing last night
I was a musician.
You were the audience.
I played you the song of our lives
and you still sit
in front of me
As a kid, I did a lot of observing. Interesting things were all over the place. I noticed animals, shoes, clothing, but the number one thing that I payed attention to we’re people acting differently. Not in a bad way at all, just differently. One day when I was about six, my parents and I were driving down the streets of Trenton and saw the sign: Trenton makes, the world takes. When we arrived at the circus, where we were going, a little girl with raggedy cloths, probably not washed for days. She said,” Tell me you have a art” meaning heart. None of us really knew what to say at that moment, but from that day on, I made a vow to kelp people like that. And have an art. So this week I invite you all to have an art moment.
